A HIHA member, Dr Kenji Arakawa visited the Oregon State University, and discussed progress of our international research collaboration with Dr Taifo Mahmud. Dr Arakawa also met and discussed progress with Yosi Nindita, who is a visiting scientist in Dr Taifo's group from Hiroshima University supported by HIHA and JSPS-funded "Program for Advancing Strategic International Networks to Accelerate the Circulation of Talented Researchers”.

(10th and 11th July)A HiHA member Prof. Seiji Kawamoto visited Harvard Medical School.

10th and 11th July
A HiHA member Prof. Seiji Kawamoto visited Harvard Medical School/Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH), and discussed progress of our international research collaboration with Dr. Michiko Oyoshi, assistant professor of immunology division at BCH. Prof. Kawamoto also joined lab meeting, and discussed with a HiHA member Dr. Takashi Fujimura, visiting research scientist of Oyoshi lab. Dr. Fujimura is supported by HiHA and JSPS-funded “Program for Fostering Globally Talented Researchers”.
