Takashi Toda met Dr Paul Nurse (Director of the Francis Crick Institute, London UK and an awardee of the 2001 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine) in Tokyo and discussed research progress and further collaboration between their groups.

Dr Paul Nurse attended the event "Lecture Meeting by Nobel Laureate Sir Paul Nurse” held in Tokyo organised by Hiroshima University.
