Cancer Research UK London Research Institute, which is an organisation in collaboration with HiHA and extramural member Dr Toda belongs to, becomes The Francis Crick Institute on 1st April 2015. The Francis Crick Institute is a consortium of six of the UK's scientific academic organisations - the Medical Research Council (National Institute for Medical Research), Cancer Research UK (London Research Institute), the Wellcome Trust, UCL (University College London), Imperial College London and King's College London. Sir Paul Nurse, who is currently the president of the Royal Society, became the CEO of the Francis Crick Institute.
