2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Friday, 2nd November, 2017
Conference Room #302S, 3F, Advanced Sciences General Research Building, Hiroshima University
Professer Hajime Ogino (Director of Amphibian Research Center, Hiroshima University)
Evolution of gene regulatory mechanism in association with genome duplication
Takashi Toda (Graduate School of Advanced Sciences of Matter, Hiroshima University)
Professor Ogino is a leading scientist in the field of developmental biology, in particular the molecular evolution of Xenopus species.
He joined Amphibian Research Center as a director this April. In this seminar, he introduced the frontline research on the mechanism of gene regulation in association with genome duplication in Xenopus species during evolution.
* This lecture is set up as a joint seminar across five graduate schools.
